Actually I feel good that I have 2.0 motor because
2.2 will increase the Tax on exporting my car back to my country where tax is very HIGH on import cars and tax depends on the displacement of the car..(only 3% are imported cars...all domestic..My country has LOWEST import car percentage in the world..guess what country... )
Going 2.0 to 2.2 actually cost me least $3000+ on tax..(no wonder 2.0L is the average size engine for mid-size cars )
But 04 with 2.2L is sweet tho

On the plus side, BOTH of our leases are up next year! I guess it's more torque and HP for us next time around

I think Bigwave10 was the first to claim the 2004 changes. Even now with so many similar follow-up claims, there are still those who deny it?

Well, yesterday I saw it in print as details from the AHM dealer show in Las Vegas two weeks ago:
"different yellow"
"more torque in 1st, 2nd and 3rd due to change in transmission"
"sculpted door interior to give more space"
"numerous other small changes."
I guess they thought the 10% increase in displacement would be one of those numerous other small changes and would not be significant enough to make a specific mention.
