I really hope that you are right! I would love a S2200; in fact, I will be on the dealership in November if they come out with it. I just want 15-20 more hp up top and 10-12 ft/lbs of tq across the board and I'm sure with 2.2L of displacement, this could be accomplished EASILY. If they keep the stroke the same and make the bore bigger (Remember: Honda is not the aftermarket; they wouldnt have to bore the cylender walls of the currect F20 out, which is dangerous as some have pointed out cause the walls are so thin as it is. They could just design the block to take bigger pistons) they could keep the 9000 rpm redline as well. I hope they make the drivetrain stronger as well and 4.44 gears stock wouldnt hurt either!

Guys, I know that there has been alot of BS flying around about the future of the s2000, but Blair is not one to BS. He wouldn't have presented it if it was not true. We already know about the change in the yellow from spa to a slightly darker yellow.

I do not think Honda will put 2.2 on 04 because
S2000 meant 2000cc engine in year 2000
I know it sounds little stupid but putting 2.2L is just against its name and its meaning.
Even S2200 name itself is somewhat chessy.
Also...
If s2200(or S2000 with 2.2) comes out..shouldnt Japanese market getting them first?
I thought there is about few months delay between USA and Japan.
No news from Japan yet..so my best guess is..2003 S2000 will be the last year.
And..
I'm not sure but I think higer displacement engine takes more effort(technology) to achieve higer redline rpm.
