AuS2000 - I am very envious indeed! I was one of 30 owners who turned up at Rockingham (UK) a few weeks ago to drive the parade lap, but iffy English weather put paid to all that. Still, it was a great day out, and seeing those things lapping at an average speed in excess of 215mph is literally awsome!

PS I still call them Indycars!!!!!

That it just too cool! And yep, it's too bad Dario didn't have Ashley Judd with him, that would have put it over the top.

That's cool that you were able to drive Dario around. Did you take off his name from your windshield, or did you just leave it on

It really is too bad that his fiance couldn't be there to meet the both of you.

 

I didn't have anything to take it off with so I drove back to Sydney with it on.

Just south of Surfers I stopped for some breakfast and this girl in a very short dress crossed the road and asked me if I was Dario. She was bit of a shocker so I was very quick to point out that I was just his driver in the parade. If she was cute I may have put on my best scottish/italian accent .

I took it off yesterday with a hairdryer and some alcohol (for me ).
