my 1st sports car, i did have sporty cars but never a RWD car. I really wanted performance, and had the cash to spend. Was going for a mr2 but later decided to get the S. Love the S and i feel the handling is great for the money, i dont think i could jump in to a econ car ever again... lol! sports cars is the way to go!

I drove around in my dads 350z for a year while he was out of the country, but went ahead and bought my s2k this march. First one i bought, but not the first one I dd'd. I lost a lot of torque, but now driving the z feels like driving around in a truck, plus the blind spots suck.

Previous sports cars were Integra GSR and Porsche 944.
I spent a lot of my childhood in Dad's '72 911T, and many a weekend at the autocross/time trial.

That's the first and only time I've ever heard that. I don't know of many who would deny that the S2000 is a sports car. (A sports car can be a roadster. As a matter of fact, traditionally a car wasn't considered a sports car unless it was open. That his changed in recent years to include closed cars in the sports car category, but the original sports cars were open roadsters.)

Nope. A roadster can be a sports car. The categories are not mutually exclusive.

This all depends on how you define a sports car...after all everyone always called my WRX a sports car, even though it absolutely is not. Must be two doors, and rear wheel drive...and yes the S was my first.
