s2000 wave

Okay, I have a dilemma. What is the proper etiquette when seeing another Stook on the road? I used to own a vette and we all had the vette wave, but that won't work for this car. It has to be something simple but direct. We don't want to be too obvious that would be uncool, and a nod just doesn't seem to be enough. Should it be one, two or maybe four fingers. Then again should our whole hand come off the steering wheel, this might be unsafe? I don't know but until you guys come up with something definitive I guess I'll just keep on yelling Wazzzzuuuuupppppp....

Thinking of the 4th cylinder problem, maybe we can do that with the Stook as well. We can use our toes for the transmissions
...But hopefully most of you will never have to change these parts... I guess we can put our hand up with the tip of your index finger to the tip of your thumb, which is the 'excellent' sign!!
Any other suggestions?!

Instructions for the official wave, handshake and clubhouse knock are located in the secret compartment. Once inside the clubhouse you will be given a decoder ring and your copy of the manifesto.

Siepel,
A convertible in downtown Detroit, you are a brave person. Maybe you should wave the number of times your car gets vandalized and/or stolen.
No offense, I hope, I used to live in Michigan myself. I got the heck out.

Just proceed with care on this.. Other stook drivers could misunderstand this new signal and get really upset? Of the many finger combinations out there, very few resemble a proper form of saluting. =)

two short beep and a full handed wave...
Actually I liked the first S2k I ran across with my wife in the car. We drove by, saw a white S2K coming the other way at a light, and almost simultaneously, my wife and the woman passenger in the white S2K waved with both arms flying.
Since then, we are a bit more subdued... is ay just acknowledge your fellow S2K and smile knowing how lucky we are.

Any wave should work. Jeep guys (only CJ's apply) do it and Motorcyle guys (usually jap guys stick to jap bikes and Harley guys stick to other Harleys), but in general any wave, finger motion works.
of course if you give a friendly wave to some female in a S2000 she may look at you funny (which happened to me last week) and then look away.???

I wave to every motorcycle. Sometimes the Harley guys don't wave back. Let's hope I don't remember which ones when they're stuck on the side of teh rode.
S2ooks get the UT sign if I'm in Austin. Otherwise it's just a hand in the air.
