I see, thanks. Just didn't make sense to me that porsche would produce a 2seater hard top for around 50k with boxter like performance. It's nice looking except for the rear end is hideous. Too bad it'll be outdone by the C6 corvette and E46 M3 that are in it's price range.

It's the S2k all the way. The new boxter is an improvement over the old, but still can't tell front from back without a close look. Then add in the price, and you've really got to need the ego boost to spring for the Porsche. But, go ahead, get one and then you'll know. Sell it for a huge loss and then get the S2k you should have gotten in the first place. If you have to spend big bucks, standard Corvette or Z06 will be much better performers.

But nobody disagrees about that ass.

Lord have mercy - I'd trade my S2000 for a weekend with it!

Front axle McPherson

Rear axle McPherson
McPherson struts all around? Any of the Porschefiles care to explain why?

I might take a new Boxster S over a used S2000, but there really needs to be a choice of a new S2000.

Why, is the new s2000 that much better over a pre 2004?
It's not that ... I just don't trust previous owners. How many people actually avoid VTEC for the entire break in period?

Remember I'm an S2000 lover...

But those people that disagree mostly own/love S2000s. How many S2000s are sold? Not a lot. I definitely stand by it being a bad idea even if some S2k owner's disagree.
