Was the S2000 used as a "La Mans Safety Car"?
I did a search on Google for S2000 postings and this thread came up:
\"Funny Safety Car\"
It is from Taiwan, and is in traditional Chinese. The post, dated 7/26/2002, seemed to be talking about the Safety Cars (SC) used at various races. I am not very good at reading Chinese, but I made out the phrase "Yesterday, I saw the La Mans highlight, it (the SC) was the S2000, (people) died laughing..." Anyone who can read Chinese can give us a better translation? I know there are a lot of Chinese here .
So when and where was the S2000 used as a Safety Car (or does he mean the pace car?) for any La Mans type races?

I think people were laffing at the s2000.
Since the first car was the SL55 AMG , second the Z8, and third the S2000.
The writer basically said if Honda wanted to keep up with those cars it should have used
a higher level car.

lol it's pretty funny....the guy said he was watching the Le Mans highlights, and the safety car is S2K. There were lots of Porsche's behind the S2K, and they have to follow the S2K very slowly, in the corners the Porsche's have to brake hard otherwise they would hit the S2K. He hopes that Honda gives Le Mans a better car for advertising.....

The S2000 should be racing at LeMans, not a pace car. Honda really should consider it.
