The Audi TT is going to be as expensive or more than the S2000 also. They do come with a turbo stock which is a sweet option. The interior is really nice but the back seat is sooo tiny.

cars under 10k i consider fun

Honda prelude

Mazda miata

Toyota mr2 spyder

i found a bunch on auto trader (wide search) under 10 with avg 77-100k in mileage. If you want a super cheap affordable "sporty" car this is what you can expect.

are you done with high school? or do you have one more year. if you do, get a four door like

an accord se w/ a v6, nissan altima

if you're up for a challenge (mechanically speaking) the Porsche 924 and 928 in some cases the 944 can be found with 100-150k in miles. for under 10k. again this in the end is going to cost you 5k or more a year to run (repair, gas, tires etc)

get a cheaper lower mileage four door car. and get laid on the weekend instead of spending time fixing an old sports car.

Get a E36 M3, best car you can find for 10K in decent shape.

yes, but more often those cars are wicked high mileage. 150k plus. if they're less than that....got to wonder what happened.

You can find it if you search around and are willing to take a bit higher mileage. Just sold my '02 clean title with 110k miles for $10k this summer.

dude, your still young be patient!
you will be happier with a sports car when money isnt such a problem.
its not worth buying someone else's problem with a 100k car. Maintenance is like using ur cash as toilet paper! unless your a big tech head...
IMO an s2000 should be your second car. meaning you own 2 cars at once!
at least save a few more gee's , mow some lawns! jk

my parents are paying for insurance haha so I don't have to worry about that!
They might not know how much it is. You better have them find out first. Seriously its ridiculous for someone your age.

Age does not equal instincts. There's 40 year olds that can't drive for sht. Plus, everybody learns the road and car at different rates. One who has had their license for 1 year can very likely be a better driver than someone who has had it for 10.
statistics prove you wrong buddy!!!
