Hello!

New owner and new site member here!

Got my s2000 04 last week and i love it! Ive been browsing these forums for a while reading up on stuff and finally decided to splash the cash last week and I smiled all the way home!

I wanted to ask a couple of things

Is there any specific sites or places in Essex (Or South East England) where I could take my S too to get a quote for tuning the car up (ie getting some more bhp from it). Im not very hot on cars or their functions and would like someone to do it for me

I was also interested in getting a stereo with the pop out TV screens, but noticed that the stereo itself is set back into the unit, does anyone know if theres something i can get which will fit into the s2000 cubby, as i was after a satnav / tv / stereo but currently looks like if i fitted one the screen wouldnt be able to come out properly ?

Any advice would be fantastic!

You will probably get more meaningful answers to your questions if you posted them to the UK S2000 Owners forum. Just a suggestion. And welcome to the club.

 

I agree with the above post. I'm sure there are other owners in essex that can direct you to a good tuner.

As far as the TV is concerned, check out the electronics forum. I've browsed through there some, but I have not seen anyone running a pop out screen in the stock location. A lot of people get a stand alone screen and cut a hole to mount it in the dash to the (in your case) left of the climate controls.

 

No way of putting in a pop up screen in the stock location, unless you're planning on cutting and removing the vents right above. Some people have cut their dash and put in monitors that way, others like darkknight1999 have custom molded one right where the rear view mirror goes and have put in a rear view camera. Check the electronics forum, you'll get tons of help there.
