that sux and i know how you feel. A NYC metal garbage can was hit by a mini van on the west side highway and bounced into my passenger side door. no clue why it was in the middle of a hwy. must have fallen off a truck or something. $1000 in damage and not a damn thing i could do about it except claim it through insurance and pay the $500 deductible. its one of those freak things that you hope never happens to you.

Hey... as long as you're ok, it's all good. Just imagine if it was like a truck tire or something rather than a regular sized car tire. That would be bad.

Glad to hear you're ok.

Do you have anymore pics of your car with the black powder-coated wheels? I was thinking about doing that and wanted to know what it looked like.

Thanks,
Andre

That is pretty crappy! I was reading this thread waiting to hear another story of carnage then realized it wasn't really avoidable or your fault. That's a damn shame, but what can ya do.

BTW Love the wheels also, they caught my eye more than damage

on the bright side you get a new bumper and an exhaust. like a new car!

but seriously iono if it was on purpose or not but some people need to take responsibility.

i gotta commute on the freeway every day and i see too much crap on the grounds.

torn tires in the middle of the highway, someone dropped like thousands of paper towels., and my favorite was some dumb motorist decides to throw some sort of plastic ball or cap out of his window and i think its a paper ball and i can run over it ( as i had no choice anyway) and luck may have it it bounces and i ram right into it.

sometimes i wonder if its my fault i have some road rage.
