S2000 times
Hey, S2Ki. I was wondering what is the fastest time for a stock S2000 the year dont matter. The fastest time I heard of a S2000 going was 13.7s. What is the real record?
Enough of stock S2000, do you know who holds the record of the fastest S2000 that is actually street legal.
Im sorry if this has been asked or posted before. Im just wondering.
I have found out that the fastest 350z has gotten is a 13.5 or 13.6s. Anyways, a friend of mine claims that its easier to get faster times in a 350z then a S2000. He seems to think any S2000 driver that gets into high 13s for the S2000 are really good driver. Mostly 350Z wins on the 1/4 thats what he seems to think.
This is what he thinks:
1/4 = 350z
highway =350z
handling =S2000
Im just wondering what is the fastest time for a stock S2000 (year dont really matter) and the fastest S2000 (modified).
As again im sure this has been ask before, but I would really apperiate any help.
Thanks.

Both cars would be very close though. Because of the low-end torque, there is an advantage to the 350z off the line, but the high-end horsepower of the S2K can make up for that. Both cars can be modified, but the 350z may take mods better or have more potential.
So, it really boils down to the driver and track conditions in most cases.

mxt_77 is right...seeing as how the s2k is not really a straight line car...
but - to answer your question - there is a guy that posts here occasionally and owns a bmw that ran a 13.667 on a stock s2k - either a MY02 or MY03 - can't remember. and this was on street tires and a 7800rpm clutch drop...
or so he tells it...
