Ok, I'll be in Singapore starting on the 17th of July and I have your e-mails so I'll drop you guys a line. Any recommendations on a nice serviced apartment? I'm going to be in SP for at least 7 months, so I'm looking for a pretty nice place. Thanks...

If you are spending most of your time at work,
it maybe wise to get an apt near the office.

Of course, get one which has proximities to grocery store,
bus/cab stops, food outlets, etc.

If you can drop me an email of your office address,
I can then recommend certain apartments.

It depends on your budget and what you want to be close to. I really liked being closer to Orchard where I could go walk around and people watch and get food and stuff afterwork, so I stayed at the Shangri-la's service apartments. Right around the corner from there are several others that likely are a bit less. While most of the stuff around the Shangrila was a little more expensive by local terms, it wasnt too bad. Plenty of restauirants and food courts to keep my pallette interested, convenient shopping for stuff, and a supermarket within walking distance (Although I would take a cab back since its uphill a bit)
7 mos is a long time to get stuck in a svc apt, so you might as well find something nice! I am sure the local guys can assist you . good luck!
