Digital = F1

The digital gauge are also a perfect match to the ones from my old 1986 mazda 626 4-door hatchback I wish I had a picture to compare. They're identical.

I don't get it. Why can't you tell how fast you are accelerating with the OEM gauge? I have never had a problem with figuring it out... Maybe you just prefer the look and it really has nothing to do with figuring out acceleration?

I can't read analog guages as well now because I am so used to the digital speedo. Oh well, I'll just keep driving my S.. or get a motorcycle.

No you're not. I've grown to like ours, but I'd trade for a big analog tach in the center, with the red line perfectly vertical. Don't really need a speedo, but we could throw a digital speed readout off to the side.

Then, as long as we're fantasizing, how 'bout making it a holographic HUD with the focus about 30 feet in front of the car...

It would be nice if the speedo updated at a very fast rate during acceleration/deceleration like in racing games, then just start slowing down to OEM rate as the speed becomes more constant so it won't jump back and forth all the time.

Any electronics junkie know how to hack the cluster?

I do like the soft blue color of the gauges. I wish DJ Qube had completed a working reliable version of his LED lights.

Our speedodameter is damn accurate i think. Cuz whenever i go through ezpass, my speed posted on the sign is always matching with whats on my dash. Even on Queens blv. at highway speed.
