I came from RSX Type S to the s2k and there is no comparison. S2k hands down.

Got one of both......

The S2000 is a lot more fun to drive, handles better, gets more looks, better at autocross....

The RSX is better at gas mileage, hauling mulch, taking a third person along....

Don't take me wrong... the RSX-S is a great car, and I love all 240,000 miles I have on it!!!!

No more than I'd want to replace my S2000 with a CR-Z. Ie, "Absolutely Not."

(Although sometimes I wish I had purchased my S2000 outright, rather than trading my GSR in on it.)

I had two RSX-S previously and while I loved them both, they don't comapre to the S. As most have said, if you need more room and better mpg while still getting some fun out of the vehicle then fine. Otherwise, you're better off with the S.

The RSX-S is fun to drive with the I-VTEC system. It's easily modified for good gains and is pleasing to the eye. However, it won't beat a stock S without some major upgrades.

Besides, you'd miss the convertible top.

I guess it depends on the trade of course, in terms of financially being a smart decision. I do love my s2k, but if it's your only car, I can understand possibly wanting a different car, if for no other reason than practicality. The car is tiny, and has little space for things. There have been a few times where I wish it had more space, and I have a second car..

The back seats in an RSX suck unless you plan to only put small kids back there. There is more room in the hatch than in an S2000 trunk but that's the only real benefits of an RSX over an S2000.
