S2000 Reliability?

S2000 Reliability?
my car only have 19000 miles but how reliable is this thing? i know its a honda and all but is it as reliable/bulletproof as the civics, integras, and other hondas?
some time i feel like the S2000's engine is more fragile than the other honda engines, even though i havent had any problem with it
i used to have 2 acura legends that hit 180,000+ miles with no major problems, an integra that i hit 90,000 and drives like new before i sold it, so not sure why im letting myself think the S2000 is fragile...maybe because its a high performance engine

The harder you push any vehicle the higher the probability of things breaking. Read about the design of the S2000's engine, the pistons speeds at 9000 RPMs are really incredible. So yeah, it's more likely to break, but only if you drive the car and expect it to work like a Honda Accord. The amount of stress on just the engine internals alone grows at a geometric rate as RPMs increase.
This car is a sports car, it requires regular maintenance that other cars can often be denied and still function normally. If you maintain this vehicle it will be very reliable, if you abuse it and neglect the maintenance intervals then you're just asking for problems. There's another thread like this in UTH, check it out.

This engine is fine, don't be so worried.
