How accurate is it to use just the last 4 digits? The S2000's were built in two plants in when the late 2004 models switched from the Tochigi plant to the Suzuka Plant. Ex: "4T00XXX and 4S000XXX" where "T" is Tochigi and "S" is Suzuka. While this is only a possibility it should at least be looked into. The Instance of a 2004 being produced in the Suzuka plant would be a very low number. So you can have a early Tochigi 2004 that's 0020, and a later Suzuka 2004 that's also 0020. Just a thought.
I've seen it on some of Honda's other models since the last four is the series from each specific plant. For example: Civics are Built in three plants and they can easily share the last 4-5 digits.

Unfortunately I just printed and scanned tonight's update so XtinaC will not appear tonight, but she will be included in tomorrow's update.
Thanks.
