FWIW this list might be easier to maintain in a public read-only google doc. That would save the trouble of having to scan it.
Perhaps. I'm going to look into that. Thanks.

Look for your listing in tomorrow's update.

The production #s breakdown from the faq is interesting in relation to this registry. I guess I've got one of the last US 02s.

What are S2000 production numbers?
• Honda does not separate sales by color, however:

Calendar Year -- U.S. --------- Europe -------- Japan ---------- Canada ------ Australia
Calendar Year U.S. ----- U.K. & Europe -- Japan -- Canada -- Australia -- MidEast/Africa
1999 3,400 1,179 7,209 332 596
2000 6,797 3,955 3,422 412 521
2001 9,682 2,197 1,913 401 308
2002 9,684 2,537 1,471 336 164
2003 7,888 2,095 961 238 79
2004 7,320 2,036 1,087 250 39
2005 7,780 1,795 981 212 40
2006 6,271 1,474 1,225 146 30
2007 4,302 1,116 997 123 26 126
2008 2,538 706 1228 65 15 82
2009 642* 587** 871* 31*

(as of Sept 2009, from Wikipedia sources)

Maybe not. There were 14,192 S2000s produced for the model year 2002. Unless Honda used a different numbering sequence for each shipping point, your number, while high, is far from the end.

I'm not sure how they did it, but I doubt that they did use a different sequence. I think they designated country by digit #12 (I think) in the vin.

The registry should probably reflect original paint/interior colors so that potential buyers of cars can identify if the car is still original in color. Laguna Blue was not used on any AP1's, I think it was introduced along with DBW (so 2005 in Japan, 2006 here).
