The full scene was an S2000 but for some reason they decided to use a Civic/Integra for the in-car shot? I dont know why they would do that.

It's probably not even a Honda, just some car the studio's prop department had lying around. It's the exact same interior as the Jetta that Jesse was driving, except they changed the seats and added a harness instead of a seatbelt:
