I'm a little further out than the NYC area. In Rochester NY. John Holtz Honda here has 5 S2000's in stock. 3 '02's and 2 '03's. They, and another local dealership with 1 '02, have been advertising the '02's at $29695. Not bad, eh? No prices listed on the '03's.

Do check the thread:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=72835
for the lowest prices I've seen anywhere. $29500 for a new '03?? At the least, gives you something to bargain with.

Be weary of someone you advertises or quotes you a price of $29,500 for an
03' S2000. There is more to the story than some low price, that number is below dealer invoice and it is highly unlikely a dealer will sell one( 2003') for under invoice.

Also of the members who "paid" such "low" amounts for S2000's how many had trade in's?, how much was the dealership's DOC FEE?, what about other fee's ?

All of these factors play a roll in what a dealership will do as far as making an agreement on selling a car. No flames intended guys, but this is my profession and on many occasions there is more to it than what meets the eye!

I do not believe that $29,500 is below dealer invoice. Regardless, a dealer can sell below invoice due to holdback.

Got mine at Paramus Honda - got it for $30,000 with front, rear spoilers and wheel locks. 2002 Suzuka blue. Great dealership. Route 23 Honda in Pompton Plains offered the same deal but they only have 2 yellow cars. Doc fee and rest was normal. I have purchased about 37 cars in my life so far along with 21 motorcycles so I can honestly tell you both these Honda dealers are ready to deal. Also, Route 23 Saturn has a used 2000 or 2001 silver been sitting for 3-4 months. I know they are ready to deal also.

Dealer near me I checked with quoted me 32.200 as their best price for an 03. The only additional dealer costs are 64.00 for doc. fee. I believe prices may drop a bit more however.
