S2000 owners... any rattles??

The only think is a VERY squeaky seatbelt. It appears to actually be the cloth of the seatbelt rubbing against the seat. I usually don't hear it with the top down and judicious use of the radio/CD also helps...

Had a rattle in the driver's door, but it went away after the first few hundred klicks. Now it's the tightest car I've ever experienced, having driven it over some of the roughest roads available between here and Asheville.

I had a rattle when nobody was on the passenger side. I fixed it by fastening the passenger's side seatbelt. I found that it was rattling up against the door. Initially, I thought that it was the passenger side window. Glad that it was cheaper to fix.

the only rattles that I have are from having unsecure items in the storage compartments. easily solved by having a small towel in there that serves double duty to wipe the interior down.
all in all the tightest car (under $70K) that I have ever owned, driven, or sat in. That includes coupes and sedans.
IMO Honda did an amazing job with the "high xbone chassis". don't believe me try driving an BMW M3 convertible, M roadster, Corvette or any other open top car. the s2k is a veritable vault by comparison.

I've had two: the first was a loose passenger side top latch, which was replaced under warranty. The second is somewhere in the driver's side door panel, and you can only hear it when I close the door. I'm going to have a dealer open the door panel and find out what's going on.
Other than that, it's superior to the past three cars I've owned. (all domestics, tho. A saturn sedan, an SVT contour, and a C5 corvette)

I've got about 2000k on mine, and the only noise is a squeak in the little pad in the center console behind the cup holder. When you rest your arm on it it squeaks...but it's an easy fix to remove and and repair...just haven't gotten around to it.
Compared to the last Porsche I had (that cost more than 3 times what the S2000 is worth) this car is AMAZING. I can't believe how solid everything is...no flex at all, and even though the interior materials are not expensive, the car has an overall feel of quality that puts the porsche to shame.
