Would be nice to see a facelift commemorating 60years of Honda mastership.

How many S2k's have been built since the original release anyway?

I love cars and have bought a lot of them. One of the most recent was an 04 Corvette conv. I am able to buy a variety of cars at wholesale prices, I drive them for a few months and then resell them once I get bored. I have have owned three S2000's including my current 04. No other car gives me the fun and all around satisfaction that the S does. It is truly a unique car and has found a permanent place in my garage that no other car has had. Its also nice that after 5 years they are still rare enough that you don't see them all over the place.

In regards to the Ridgeline being a chopped off Pilot. The Ridgeline (as stated in Hondanews) is over 90% unique from any other Honda vehicle. My experience with most fellows who love trucks is they love the looks of the Ridgeline, a lot of times they mistake it for the Cadillac Escalade. Isn't it great that now if you need a truck you still have the option of buying a Honda.

even in san francisco where there are a abundance of s2k's , the car is still turning heads left and right and its a joy to drive top up or down. I wouldnt trade it for anything.

You must be really really young. Feeling as though you have to brag about your house and an upcoming purchase of a vette.

How about that we love our cars and like seeing how its history is developing.

I have to agree with alot of what is being said here. I live in an area where people stop and ask what kind of car I'm driving. Plenty of 's come my way too. Has any other auto maker developed a more impressive NA inline 4-cylinder yet? I'm seeing supercharged and turbocharged 4 cylinder and v-6's, but nothing quite like the S.

Great thread,

I just purchase a new 04 about 2 months ago. I test drove many different cars for example
- 03 covette Z06
- 2003 BMW M3 with stage 3 dinan and smg
I also looked at several different porsche models.

What stood out the most about the S2000 was the level of enjoyment and excitement I recieved from the car. Much more driver oriented than the M3.
Also, keep in mine the S2000 was specifically designed as a sports car instead of a impreza getting a 300hp turbo 4 banger for example.
I will say this - I wouldn't have the S2K if I didn't have another vehicle for everyday use.

Just be grateful for what you have and enjoy.

just my .02
