S2000 Lease Transfer Question
Is there any way to legally "sell" your lease off? I need a car with storage capacity, and I still have a long time left on my lease. What can be done if anything at all? Or have I signed my soul away to the devil?

Ok, what company is your lease with? if it is with American Honda, you can call them with the person who wants to take over your lease "make sure this person can qualify for the lease" and they will run a credit check and if everything is ok, they will transfer the lease to the other person. What I mean, what is remaining of the lease will be transfer to the new buyer.

read the terms and conditions on your lease agreement!!!!
it will/should have a section that concerns the assignment of the lease. 10:1 that the agreement will not allow a transfer.
good luck.

There is a web site called Swapalease.com you pay them like 45.00 to post your car. If someone is interested then Swapalease will contact you. They do all the paperwork to transfer the lease. I am not sure of the cost to do the paperwork, but according to there site they take car of everything. Check it out.
