$21xxx.xx residual
I am happy. I know I may have gotten a better deal but I'm only 22, my credit is young, an I got the color I wanted so who can complain? My S2K search lasted all of 3 days from start to drive off.
I must comment that Jimmy Lee of Honda World in Downey, CA, who is also an S2K owner and on this board, provided excellent service to me and made the whole car buying process simple and honest. I highly recommend seeing him if you need to buy a honda in so. cal.

I always lease my cars and am leasing my brand new 02 s2k. Just picked it up yesterday as a matter of fact and got the following deal: 36 month lease, 15K/yr, $1200 down (total) and my payment was $450 on the nose. (5.75% tax included)
I was amazed at the residual value of this car! (66%) That even beats BMW, Porsche, and MB! Check your numbers... I think mine is throught Honda Finance and you might be a lot better off going new. Especially with a 66 point residual! Just a thought! Good Luck!

Someone just leased an '02 Suzuka Blue S2000 here in New Bern for $515 per month, 36 month lease, NO money down and 12k miles per year! Not sure if that's good or not. . .

Also, I don't know if there are other charges we are not adding in the equation but I am $33 off of my quote of $569/mo (but then again, I have a 1000 cap reduction (akak drive-off). The residual is ~$19,000
I decided to change it today to a 48 month lease which put me at ~$520/mo. The residual is $18,000
I could care less about buying the car at the end. By the time this is over, my car will have 60k+ HARD HARD miles on it so I'll want a new car.
