Default s2000 a keeper?

My lease is ending on my s2000 in the next couple of months. I have very low miles on it (16000). I have put in a little bit of money into it. Hard top, lowered, comptech side skirts, headers, CF hood. It's immaculate! I am frankly getting bored with the car, but I know It'll miss it, because there is no true replacement for the s2000. I think it would be a good keeper if it's going to be hot in the future, like the supra, nsx, and rx7's. I was hoping they stop production of it already, but they haven't. Any comments, suggestions would be great!

You're getting bored with the car? Really? Is it because of the rain? Sorry, I don't have any advice. I could never get bored of this car.

Bored of it? I think we all get bored at one point. The idea is to find ways to renew your interest in the car. I find a lot of times all it takes is for me to spend some time detailing it and it feels "new" again. Other times it's taking the S2000 out on some back roads and doing some hard driving.

Are there any other cars for $30-35k that would provide you the same driving experience as this car? From a pure driving standpoint, there are none.

Plenty of faster cars, yes... I don't know about you, but I get bored of straight-line acceleration quite quickly. I never grow tired of hitting a nice corner.

time to rekindly your passion for the car.

Here is perfect remedy for your symptom.
Judging by statistic....you probably never took your car to a road track.

Do yourself and your car a favor. Take it to a track. come back and tell us how you really feel.

At one point i was thinking about selling it. But i quickly changed my mind, when i blast thru the S turn on the back road of San francisco. And never again will i ask myself, Should i sell it? Now, i just need to save up for OEM or Mugen hardtop and a supercharged.

Take it to the track!

Only other car I might consider replacing it with would be the Elise.

Have you ever auto-xed? I think it's the easiet and cheapest way to have fun like you can't on the streets. Safer place to learn car dynamics than a track too.
