speaking of flashlight, any advice on a great one that's rechargeable, good output and life and not too expensive?

no one has mentioned the evo, they actually have a great hid setup in that car also. i assume you need excellent lighting if you're rally driving at night.

I love the HID on the S...until you have to replace one whole side at 11K miles and Honda doesn't help you out! $800+

what do you need?

flood? throw? LED (impact resistant)?

how are you going to use it? general illumination? tactical purpose?

against city light surrounding? or in dark surrounding like camping?

does size matters?

for general purpose, i kinda like the Inova T4

but there are so many options out there that different light will fit different purpose

I love the s2k's HID's and think they are great especially having them in 2000. I do like the 3rd gen TL's HID's better though, b/c the HID brights are SICK!! But like others have said u don't need brights that much so it isn't too big of a deal.

awsome headlights

I also just switched to ap2 headlights/ballast/bulbs. The light cut off seems much sharper

Most projector-type HID systems are pretty damn good, really. The S2000 definitely has one of the best ones out there.

I have to disagree on the TT, though. It has one of the worst HID setups I've ever witnessed.

My Acura CSX's HID's aren't great either, but they're not projectors.
whats a csx?

I use to have a MITS EVO with HID and the vision is much better with the S2000 HID , some times I had to turn on the fog lights on the EVO in order to compensate .
