Default S2000 Hardtop

Hi there everyone! This is my first post here. I am getting my '01 stook in a couple of weeks. The only dilemna I have is whether I should get the hardtop or not. I have one seen only one picture of the car (silver/red - which is what I am getting) and it looks really really nice with the hardtop. Could someone please point me to some pictures of what the car looks like with the hardtop? Also, considering it's summer and I live in LA it would not make much sense to use the hardtop when it's hot - right? Would you wait till fall or so to get it or just get it now? The only thing I am worried about is, say i get it like 4-5 months down the road, will it match the car perfectly?

Any ways, other that these petty issues I am totally pysched about getting this baby. When I first saw a picture of it back in '99 I knew I was in love.

Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the board!

So far, nobody has posted anything about having problems with the color matching of the hardtop to the paintwork, so I think you'll be pretty safe to order the HT later, if you decide to do that. However, although you may not need it right now, it will come in useful if you plan on doing any trips to the desert, or anywhere it gets toasty. You might also consider that it's highly likely that Honda will find some reason to raise the price, as it gets nearer the rainy season, later in the year. If you're serious about getting one, check out HandA-Accessories.com (link below) for the best price, and the install instructions (if you decide to do it yourself).

Here's a pic of mine, which I installed a few months ago:

The hardtop is great and looks great! I had my S2K for almost a year before the hardtops came out and the paint matches perfectly. Mine is silver also. I'll probably keep mine on most of the year with short periods off in the spring and fall. I can fully enjoy my stereo upgrades with the hardtop, which quiets the interior, especially at highway speeds.

Prices????

My dealer said $2950

I live in Cincinnati and it gets pretty nasty here...I think I want to get it, but don't want to be ripped off.

Any help?

I assume handA is aftermarket parts supplier. Good quality compared to OEM?
