If they cut the rails they must have an s2000 to put them into, or be on the lookout for seats being sold without rails.
It seems like so many s2000s go missing in south Florida, are they using tow trucks to get them so quickly ?

Craigslist seems like the place to find stolen parts for sale - Discovery had a show going for a while called Underworld or something like that. They show how drug dealers, car thieves and even identity thieves operate. Was interesting to say the least. They had some truck stripped and put onto a new frame in just a few hours IIRC.

sorry for your loss man. I deal with insurance companies everyday, lower end companies such as progressive, safeco, geico, hartford, etc.. They all suck ass. Its like they train their reps to screw any and everything, no matter if you're the insured or you're the claimant.
If you don't want to deal with BS and get a reasonable offer for the situation that you may be in, then go with the top tier companies such as state farm, farmers.

I have just purchased aftermarket seats so I can keep the OEM ones secure inside the house. Yes, I realize they are no better inside than in someone's vehicle, but I think in 20 years I'll throw them back in. For now, I'll use the aftermarkets where I don't have to worry too much about wear or theft.
Fortunately, nobody really steals Honda parts around here.
