After checking very closely under my S2000 and not finding genitalia, I have come to the conclusion it is mechanical in nature and therefore neither masculine or feminine.

The target demo. is 80/20, in favor of men. Honda expects them to be married with an annual household income of $110,000 combined.
All of my S2K sales have been to men, although a rich 18 yr. old is arguable. I've seen one sold to a woman. They, almost always, feel more comfortable (desireable?) in an Accord coupe.
If your woman drove a F-350 would you consider her any less of a woman?
She must have confused it with a Miata. Oh, and up to 5,900 RPM's, se may have still confused it with a Miata....OPEN IT UP!

A manly man don't care what others think about what he drives.

But just in case, the gun rack's going on the roll bars and I'm going hunting with it. Do you think a moose would fit in the trunk?
