^Says the guy with a Miata, C6, and formerly CTSC'd S2000.
He graduated from CTSC S2000 to a C6 Corvette and then recently moved on up to a early NA Miata.

As owners, do you feel like the s2000 gives you that driving satisfaction, fun factor?

my wife tells my s52m roadster is faster than her 06s2K, Wrong......... She only knows her car sounds good at 100+mph and knows nothing of vtech..S2K outhandles my bimmer, is just as fast but it is different beast. Honda is faster than it feels, bmw is slower than it feels..bmw pulls hard honda 6k-8k pulls hard. I love both ....................Mark MZIII...............

I have an ap1 and a na miata(first gen) in my garage right now, both are fantastic car, the miata being cheap and older are great to work on, cheap to buy stuff and offer higher fun per dollar than the s2k.
of course it's not going to pull on 2jz supra but put them in the right track and a good driver you can have it runs circles around much much more expensive car.
but the down side of miata, esp the OG bodystyle is that they are a bit old and there's alot of tired example on the market. some people do not like the idea of getting a rat couch and fixing it up, so NB might be a better answer if you have the money(and doesn't mind the look of NB )
