Is the S2000 the first standard vehicle you have owned?

My S is my first manual car and it will probably be my last one.
My S' shifting motion is so perfect, I've found myself comparing everything manual car to my S.
The result of each of those comparisons is quite predictable. My S is the best and I can not drive any other manual car again!

Wow, this is an old thread!
In Australia we refer to cars as auto or manual. I've always preferred manuals but for boring bumper to bumper city driving I'd rather be in an auto.
But technology is changing and autos are becoming more advanced. I recently had an opportunity to drive a Maserati Spider with the Ferrari fully clutched auto. That is, it has a conventional clutch but it's activated automatically. And it has both a full auto mode and a paddle shift manual mode. Now that is a set up I prefer over a conventional manual and I'm sure in time it will make it's way into more affordable cars.

The S2K is my 4th. '88 Prelude Si > '06 Integra GS-R > '99 4Runner > '02 S2000.
Once in a while I get to drive an '00 BMW 323i with steptronic transmission. One time when slowing down, I put my left foot on the brake thinking it was the clutch. That was a weird moment.

my FIRST manual car is the S2000. i'll have to admit that i can't shift worth $hit right now...good for a beginner, but not good enough yet.
people here told me before i got the S to drive a RWD manual for at least 6 months before taking the S...i did not...and i still don't know why they said that...
im good enough to not stall any more...or at least on a flat surface...someone teach me how to drive!!

this is a good idea for a thread topic! the S is my 7th manual car:
'82 Datsun B210 station wagon (high school car - NOT a chick magnet)
'91 Prelude Si (sweet ride - totalled in college wreck...too bad)
'93 Dodge Shadow (POS american car but got me thru the rest of college)
'99 Mazda Miata (first "new" car - T-boned after 2 weeks and 192 miles...)
'00 Mustang GT (fun to drive - but everyone else had one)
'02 RSX-S (getting closer to where i wanted to be...)
'04 S2000 (perfection!!!)
Anyone else hardly ever drive an auto and forget that when you are at a stoplight, etc - and lightly let up on the brakes - the auto car wants to roll forward? that always gets me!
