Default S2000 Driving School

Is there any driving school that use S2Ks?

One of our local members (hecash) teaches high performance driving at race tracks in the area. You bring your own car, but S2000s are able to run stock (without aftermarket roll-bars.)

Another option that could be done, would be to get the Evolution AutoCross school (www.autocross.com/evolution) to come to an area and give an S2000 specific school.

It's not going to be cheap (probably 250 per person) and you'll need a bunch of students to make it cost effective (site rental fees around here are pretty damn pricey) but I think it would be awesome idea.

Most autocross regions will welcome first timers and they may have experienced autocrossers who are available to help instruct.

Seat time is really the best teacher, I think, so get out there and do it.

I went to an open track day at the local road course (noproblemracewaypark). Let's just say I could have payed $75.00 and had an instructor ride with me with headset walkie talkies. That's for all day.

This probably doesn't help you any, but I'm aware that the Mid-Ohio Driving School uses RSX-S as their "student cars".

I would prefer bringing my S2000 though.

I'm eager to have some performance driving instruction too.

What are insurance concerns for such instruction?

I don't really want to drive around in circles on an american race track or even learn to autocross. I want instruction that will help me with curves on winding roads. I still have trouble looking at a turn and determining what the speed the MY04 can take it at. So I'm always well below the limit.

Mid-Ohio is a Honda track. I hope that they will switch to S2Ks soon.
