I think you need to double-clutch your upshifts, but for the love of NOS, don't granny shift.

I'm running a Honda 2000. My goal for summer is to finish my project with about 100k under the hood

Oh damn did the tran brothers find you that $100k spoon motor too ?? And by the way ill tell you a super secret that the pro drivers dont want you to know, when you top out in sixth, put the car in neutral than put it in reverse, apparently at 100mph hours the reverse gear switches to the secret RACE gear, honda wanted it to be secret thats why its just labeled R like a normal reverse

good to know, i don't want to sound cocky but i live my life a quarter-mile at a time. To me, it doesn't matter if i win by an inch or a mile. But when i lose my GF (Monica!) tends to blow me off.

I'm glad to back in the states though in H.S. I got into real trouble street racing and had to live with my dad in Japan... But thats a story for a different time

I usually use overnight parts from Japan and then I yell 'too soon junior' as I clutch kick, power oversteer and e-brake sideways through the mountains.

y would the floor pan fall off?
don't you have any car knowledge at all? Once you hit 140MPH and start to top out the welds don't hold anymore. But honestly you can just order another one over night from Japan
Looks like I was beaten to it. Damn.

If you want to drift, you need over night parts from Japan.

Ok ok ok, lets be serious here for a second, why does everyone get upset when they hear about a s2000 drifting ?? I really am curious to this one ? I understand its more of a grip, and lap car, but in all honesty i have more fun going sideways just for shits and giggles. Im just curious as to why the drift hate ?? All i ask is an honest opinion good or bad, then ill gladly get back to the post and tell you guys how i used to use an abandoned mine shaft to transport massive loads of droogs into america. Or the one time i used a curb to launch my car over 100 feet to land on a boat because the bridge was out and i was late for work haha

imo it wasn't the topic of the post, it was the way it was presented.

Easy: OP joins s2ki in JANUARY 2012 wants to talk about drifting. LOL just seems immature. Also I personally don't give a crap what anyone does with their cars, you wanna play Tokyo Drift be my guest. Drifting on a public road is outright retarded, at least racing doesn't involve intentionally getting your car sideways
