Default s2000 cover

Hello s2ki, I have a question for you guys. My house has no garage, and where I leave gets super windy and dirt gets everywhere.
What is a good car cover out there that is waterproof and won't scratch the paint.
Budget is 80-140

Go to Wal Mart and buy the best cover you can.

Not an S, but I kept a nice car in a large carport, sheltered by buildings on 2 sides, with a concrete drive on the open end, & lawn on the open side.

There was no garden or bare dirt anywhere to cause dust.

I covered the care with an expensive high quality breathing cover, with 3 straps to stop it flapping around.

After a week of rain & moderate winds, the paint along the lower part of the doors, & the fenders was quite scuffed.

I was lucky, this buffed out after a fair bit of work, however, that cover went in the trash. It caused more damage than it saved.

I will never use another.

Obviously a structure would be best but he does not have one. I have been using a cover for years and years (6 covers and counting) on my 94 TBird (original owner) which is left at the airport for up to 2 weeks at a time in sun and storm. Paint looks great and the interior is much better than equivalent cars. Yes, sometimes after a nasty storm, its dirty and scuffed and needs a good cleaning but the cover is worth it if the car is in the open for some time.

Did the S have the option to but a cover from the factory, does anyone know? I don't have internet except on my phone, so I'm too lazy to search lol.
If they did I would try to hunt for one of those.

That whole car cover scratching the car with wind and dust story is a reality. Be careful.

Yes but it's not for outdoor use.
