I'm a chick who owns one and my experience may be slightly different. Every now and then a woman might comment that my car is nice, but usually they look at me and make a face like maybe they are thinking "You Bi*ch" or they try to act like they aren't looking, BUT the attention I get from the guys is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Men LOVE the car and rarely do I encounter a guy who doesn't know what kind of car it is and how incredible it is.

Maybe a little off topic here, but speaking of chicks.

I was at this party when my friend was all bragging about my car and how fast it is. This chick that was there sounded very interested and wanted to check out my car. My car was parked on the street. So we walked out and she walked around my car and was all into it. Then she asked me for a ride.

Just one problem: she was kind of large

I had just met this girl and I knew that there was no way she could fit in my car! She had not seen the interior yet, otherwise I'm sure she wouldn't have asked. I was totally flabergasted, my friends left me all alone and I have this sweethart heffer asking me for a ride. I'm glad it was dark, because otherwise she would've seen my face and it was peet red. I was sure that someone was playing a joke on me and my friends were huddled around behind a tree somewhere laughing their a$$es off!

Finally I was able to brush her off, I told her that I was a lightweight and I was already drunk.

Sure, it's cool to attract women with the car but it's sooo much cooler sitting in front of the Speed Channel on a Sunday morning, snacks in hand with a woman (like mine) who might begin the festivities with something like, "let's see if Montoya can keep his freakin' Williams off of Schu's rear wing this weekend."
So true Russ. My wife is the one who got ME into auto racing. There's nothing like a gal that digs real sports.

There is a certain charm to taking a lady for a ride down
pacific coast highway when the sun is out....but at that
point, what does it matter? She's already interested.

I've found that I do get the occasional extra grin or smile,
but I had no problem meeting women when I was driving
a White volvo wagon with 170,000 miles on it. Frankly,
at least then I knew they were interested me and not the
car!
