so i've been looking for an s2000 and i've found two of them. both are GPW, one is a 2000 with 13,000 miles and the other one is a 2003 with about a 1,000 miles. the 2000 one is priced at 20,000 and the 2003 is at 28,000. both prices are negotiable. what are your opinions on this? thanks.

p.s. i know it seems logical to buy the 2003, but i figured i can talk down the price on the 2000 one more.

 

2003 for a lower price. Glass rear, less TSB's to get done, better ECU.

 

The 2003 is preferable over a 2000, but they are both good cars. I'd say go with the best deal, that 28k pricetag on the 2003 would have to move quite a bit for me to consider it. Some people are walking away from dealerships with brand new cars for not much more than that.

 

to give you a point of reference, i got my 2003 with 8100 miles on it for $24k and that was private party sale. Hopefully you can get it down to that area and purchase.
