The 370Z and a C6 are the only two cars on my list for what's next. I'd definitely take one over an S2000. It's a lot more powerful stock and still handles great. Plus they look phenomenal if you ask me. I'd love to have one in blue or black.

my opinion the 370z isn't worth the extra money over a lightly used 350z. Don't get me wrong i love the way the 370z looks but ive driven the 350 and 370 and theres not too much of a difference. Depending on what ur buying it for also...if your going for speed there really not much faster than the s2k. Can prove that also. 350z and 370z say they make 300-350 horses but only put to the wheels about 240. Thats alot of lost horsepower from the crank to the wheels, where as the s2k only losed about 30-40 from the crank to the wheels. If ur going for luxury and have the extra money then sure go with the 370z. If you want speed find a nice s2k for half the price and turbo/supercharge it...just thought id add my two cents.

i work at a valet lot so ive driven many 350s,370s. i gotta say that i would not take any of the 3's over the s2k. just overall drivablilty and comfort makes the s2k much better in my book.

I looked on youtube after reading your comment. Stock 370z actually put about 280whp. A lot more than a stock S2000.

Most of my research iv'e found that most STOCK 370z's put at the max 260whp and most 350z's put about 238whp. Now when u factor in the price for a 370z/350z in decent shape with around 30k miles vs a s2k with same mileage and condition, and youre buying a car to modify, the s2k is the better buy hands down. Yes this is my opinion, but thats why this is a forum. 370z rates factory at about 330whp and loses about 70hp from the crank to the wheels. That's not to mention the cost and hassle of tuning the damn car. The s2k ap2 rates at 240hp and only loses about 35hp from the crank to the wheels AND its a 4CYLINDER. Why spend over twice the amount of money for a car that is heavier, losed more hp from crank to wheels, and is harder to work on? That's just my logic. Don't get me wrong im not talking bad about nissan and the 370/350z's in any way cause i love driving them too but, If you're looking for a car to tune u can get a s2k and with the extra money, put a wicked turbo kit on it, prob even build the motor and turn out over 500 reliable whp.

do you have any idea what you are talking about for tuning a 370 vs a s2k? Your posts suggests that you do not.

I'll chime in here....

The 370Z is more modern, and has more creature comforts than the S does. I would like to have one myself as more of a grand touring sports car.

That being said, they will have to pry the keys for my S out of my cold, dead hand before I'll give it up. The pure driving experience of the S is exactly why I bought it. When I'm driving, I don't talk on the phone, mess with GPS, or worry about what song is on the stereo....it's just time to drive. The S is pure, raw, and very tightly focused on giving the driver exactly what they need.

I also find that the 221 hp I'm putting down propels the car just fine. A little more torque would be nice, but it's a very well ballanced package of power and cornering.

There is no bad choice between the two, just which one suits your driving style better. That is up to you.

Don't know how much the certification really means. Can always take it to a mechanic and have them check it out. Unless the previous owner was an idiot, it'd be hard to screw one up in 12k miles. Blk/blk is a good combo.....I've got an 06 all black......and I really like it. Go for the low milage blk/blk.

few days ago we had "mini track" event.
a z370 that participated had to slow down the pace because after 2-3 minutes it reached 115/240 C/F and needed cool down.
my dataloging showed max CET of 96/204 C/F during the whole 7 mintues session...
