Default S-Train on Page Mill Road

While out bike riding on Saturday morning, I spotted a convoy of S2000 (about 6?) heading up Page Mill Road in Palo Alto. The train consisted of Yellow (1st), Red (2nd), then several Silver & Black ones all with the tops down. It looked fun, and I wished I was out there with you in my black one. If any of you in that train are reading this, do you have regular outings? I'd like to hook up with you sometime. Where else did you go that day?

Later,

Steve

Josh was the lead yellow, there was another yellow that met up with us as we took off from the park and ride. We went up Page Mill and then followed a BIKE RACE!!!! Well not actually followed but went on the same route as them. The race officials did not seem very happy to see 7 S2K's zipping past them. At the end of the race a CHP guy was directing traffic and he halted the cross traffic to let our S-TRAIN through. We played around in the mountains for awhile then headed up Skyline all the way to Bear Creek then down to Boulder Creek for some lunch. It was a fun drive.

That was us all right. Steve, keep an eye on the Bay Area S2000 forum to see when we do drives, lunches, etc.

The drive was a blast for me. I don't think I've ever driven so fast in my life. I cann't believe how solid these little cars are. After the incredible flogging we gave them, no rattles, no squeaks. Truely amazing.

I hope the bikers of northern california can forgive us.

Hope you can join us next time Steve.

Andy
