Is this S an easy fix?
I'm looking at this S to turn in to a stripped out SC'ed monster over the winter.
I'm happy the front looks fixable.
The bit concerning me is the windshield frame.
It obviously needs replacing, but I've no idea how easy it is?
It's a rare Monza red one as well!
Any ideas or comments?

Well, the paint color hardly matters - nearly the whole car will have to be resprayed either way (but it does look good... never seen that color before).
You can tell that the front suspension is toast...likely the steering rack, air pump and radiator.
Sounds like a fun project if you have the resources to do it. I wouldn't even strip it out - just up the boost a little more

I currently have a boosted Moonrock and was looking for something I could take to the next level.
Yep - it will need a full respray. The suspension was going to be redone and the radiator is being changed as well.
My biggest worries are the inner fender and the winshield frame.

personally, i wouldnt do it because of the window frame.
it looks a little bit out of position. if it is, that means it's bent somewhere and even if it's pulled back into position, it will probably not have it's original strength, therefore, safety become an issue in case of a rollover.
but i have no experience in auto body repair and do not know exactly how a damaged windsheild frame is repaired and it'ss effect on structual rigidity.
on the other hand, if you take this car beyond it's original design, i.e. full cage, extensive body work, extreeme amounts of suspension and engine work, then go for it.

Steering wheel is on the wrong side...
What year? I didn't see. Also, seems expensive for wrecked car that doesn't run. What's a used MY01 or MY02 with high milage run in Cheshire? Seems like you could go another
