Default S.East (street) driving school < $750?

I'd love to improve my driving skills significantly with a focus toward street driving benefits. IE, while I might entertain a focus on skills for autox in the future, I am initially considering spending a minor amount for improvement of skills like rev-matching, line selection, shifting, etc. that will benefit my street driving first and foremost. (I'm assuming this would be the basics for improvements in autox as well in the future.)

I live in Alabama and would consider any southeast area. I have just been contacted about a DE course down in B'ham in the spring and would like to understand my options. TracQuest seems to be oriented toward course driving, though maybe it's all pretty much the same thing?

Thanks in advance for any time spent on your reply!
