Rust spots on GPW !

The spots are obviously not from your car rusting, since they occur on the plastic mirrors and bumpers.

I had this happen on my GSR, also white, it bugged the crap out of me. but clay bar got rid of most of it.

it's just surface contaminates from around you.

just clay bar your car once a year then wax it good and you'll be fine.

just make sure that when you use the clay bar, use a lot of the spray lube that comes w/ it and your car will be smooth as silk after.

I have the same problem. It'll clay right off. I have no idea what it is, except that I'm pretty sure it's from my garage. I think I'll be getting a car cover for next winter.

I have the opinion and have confirmed with a detailer I know that the tiny rust flecks are ferrous hot metal from the brakes and pads that land in the paint…seems crazy but best explanation I have ever heard…I see them more on the back of a car than anywhere else…maybe the low pressure area on the back pulls them in….just my opinion…

Better get some Iron-X or similar product.
