I'd also like to know if the CEL activates in a week or two. I've had a Spoon N1 test pipe sitting in the garage for a few months now, waiting to be installed.

It won't change the sound by a very significant amount. If anything, it should make the exhaust sound more aggressive. Your S2000 won't sound like a "Civic with a tin can on it" just because of a test pipe.

Can't you just leave the O2 hanging outside the test pipe? And also how is the MPG with the test pipe installed?

how much of a sound increase with the straight pipe?
The test pipe reduced the 3000-3500 RPM HKS drone a little bit. Definitely noticeable. WOT throttle sound has become markedly more aggressive and it sounds absolutely awesome. Still not overly loud though.

how much of a performance difference could you feel now with a straight pipe?? im assuming you lost quite a bit of low end also, right??
My butt dyno tells me that power has increased throughout the range. I'd say upper mid range is the biggest increase, right when the economy cam is running out of steam in the 5500-6000 RPM range. Noticeable power increase from 6000 to 9000 as well.

If its the sounds that get you going, a test pipe is well worth it. High RPM quick shifts produce the coolest burbling sounds. I can't even describe them in words. Instant smiles. I have had numerous car afficiondos tell me at autocrosses that my car is one of the best they have ever heard
