Rubber spacer for Hardtop installation
I'm installing my hardtop soon but I don't have the 2 rubber spacers for the soft top (as referenced in following pdf: http://www.handa-accessories.com/S2000/s2k2top.pdf).
Are these spacers required? Are there any effects if I didn't use them? Also, I'm thinking about purchasing them and just wanted to make sure that part #82 (RUBBER, SOFT TOP LINK SPACER) from the "soft top frame" would be the right piece, correct?

If this is what I think it is, the soft top spaces are only used to keep the soft top depressed. They are not required and don't make a huge impact. The CR hardtops didn't come with them (obviously) but I've had friends with soft tops use my HT and never had any impact at all.

Last month I bought an OEM hardtop from the Hardtop Guy and he installed it. He showed me these rubber spacers and explained their function and that he NEVER uses them. He probably has installed more HTs then most people so i would value his opinion.

The rubber stoppers are there to prevent the ST from folding all the way down and so that the brackets on the HT with round stoppers can make contact and prevent the ST from rattling.
