I don't believe that about the GTR AWD breaking down the ECU wouldn't let you open the door on that car if the front trans was throwing codes
sandbagging was tough because we didn't realy know what was going on + we had to be the fastest in our pairing to move up
It'd be easier to sandbag with a turbo car with diff maps maybe I think some guys did that but I didn't realy have any power to sandbag with

The GTR that won also had problems with its AWD system and was a very basic bolt on GTR. The GTR was rear wheel drive for the competition. If the GTR had a working AWD system, it would have been even a bigger spanking especially since the driver of the GTR mentioned that he spun 2nd and 3rd during the rolling launch.

Those Detroit Speed cars on that show are no joke. Those cars have made appearances at a few of our local chapter autocross events and they are just ballistic! Specifically the one trailing behind Dan in that picture posted above. I don't see how those guys even drive those things; its just so much power.

Watched an episode where they had an EVO and E46 M3 pitted against the muscle cars. When you set aside the whole fluff of redneck pageantry and posturing, its a neat battle between old and new on a track. I will definitely be watching the episodes featuring the S2000's as should all of us to support one of our own.

I've seen about 3 episodes already and I can say this show is awesome. I've seen 3 s2k's on the show so far. That white one is supercharged and won every race last night, also a blue and silver one. I saw a lot of different cars, they all lineup outside the track hoping to get chosen to challenge the Rednecks and their muscle cars. Absolutely appealing. Seeing s2000's on tv on the track is really enlightening. U have to see this show.

Episode last night was pretty good, nice job Eric. I thought it was funny when the host blamed the redneck for spinning out when you were already ahead. Good driving by the guy with the S4 wagon, sleeper for sure.
