RSX type-S gears for the S
I was reading the little comparo in Car and Driver and they mention that the RSX type-S has 4.77 final drive gears. How come I havent heard people talk about using these? Would it work?

First of all, the RSX is a FWD. They don't use ring and pinion final drive gears as a RWD car does. IE, the parts are very different.
Also, don't just take "4.77" as a reference point. An RSXs tranny ratios may be totally different and when coupled to a final drive ratio of 4.77, this may not be as impressive as it sounds. You can't compare a FWD car with a transaxle to a RWD car with a rear differential in terms of gearing.
