I'm actually surprised this is this well received on this forum... usually anything away from the typical mods is considered rice...

One thing I love about the VW crew... creativity and being different is defintily rewarded...

But I hate riced out civics too just as much as the next guy...

Something about a VW CC "Coupe" Slammed on flush on 911 Turbo wheels just makes me all warm and toasty inside.

Eitherway someone above noted that VW people swap dashes all the time... I've seen countless old skool golf's with Audi TT dashes....

A lotta custom work is definitly needed to make it fit! But looks amazing when done

Looks great.

I say if u have the cash, do it... you'd be the first as far as I know.... and I for one would love to see it done!

To be honest, If I had to choose a dash to put in the s2000--- it would be the 4th gen prelude's..... arguably one of the best looking dash's Honda has ever made and the digital gas/temp gauges would flow nicely with the s2000's cluster.
one thing i dont love about the vw forums is they cant seem to keep there cars on the road...

the rsx dash is good for what it was built for, a sports coupe. The s2000 is not made for a dash like the rsx..period

That's your opinion and it shall be respected

The most powerful/fastest/agile sport cars in the world have dial instruments. There is no such thing as a dash designed specifically for a type of car body or drive-train configuration. It is just a device to display engine RPM, road speed, etc to the driver, thats all.

the attractive thing about the S is the digital cluster...i just can't imagine an s2k without it...just like i can't imagine an auto s2000 with the f20/22c engine...

I'm not really a big fan of digital dashes. It's like a bad trip to 1985. The S dash works fine and is effective but I would of prefererred analog gauges. The dash looked outdated in 2000.

It's a very simply design that does the job. Thats my opinion. I'd like to try something different now, the original gauge style = Analog dials.

I would love to be able to swap out the ugly digital cluster for an analog one.
