Progressive springs are for comfort. I want a continuous predictable suspension. Espelir springs are cheap, and I have rode in a few cars with them, and I can say I will not be purchasing them for any reason, other than for looks if that was my main goal. Espelir's are a definite down grade in suspension for sure, I would much rather leave it stock.
I dunno what went wrong with the car you road in, but i've lowered/owned 4 different cars before and none has ever road as good and handled better than my s2000 after being lowered.

If you care so much about handling/ride, dont be a cheap ass and fork out some real money for good coilovers.

Are you kidding me? I am not going to get into a pissing match with you, as I am not about to E-fight. You need to get your facts a bit straight before you go into showing how many cars you have lowered..etc. Stock the S2000 handles better than every car you listed...so by default it should be number one. If you think your Espelir springs are top notch, then you have another thing coming, and I will let your ignorance own you.

A linear spring setup paired with Koni yellows will own most any entry level coilover setup, but I guess you already knew that. Why would you even consider yourself able to give advice when you are running a progressive spring setup on a sports car......

Thanks for your input.

Don't crap up my thread with nonsense about Espelir springs please, as it wasn't even posed as a choice, even theoretically.

Espelir GT springs are linear springs, only the ASD's are progressive.

Espelir is up there with Swift, but coilovers will own any linear springs with Koni yellows.

They're in 2 different worlds.

But coilovers are not for everyone. It takes some money to buy them, and it takes more money to have it setup right.

Most linear springs these days that are not used on coilovers are progressive and linear at the same time.

They have progressive springs rates just at the top and the linear spring rate in the middle of the springs then a bit of progressive rate on the bottom to give you a more comfortable ride without sacrificing handling.

so technically, all springs that's not coilover springs are progressive springs, so to speak.

coilover springs are the only springs that are 100% linear all the way through.
