Well let me all tell you something I recently became a new owner of a 2003 S2000, and I also have a 98 Prelude with many MODS. I am stationed over in Germany and have been here for the past 6 years. I have run Mobil in my lude all the time and I have 106,000 plus miles on it. I know the recomended oil change says something like 7500 miles in the manual, but I stick with what I was raised on 3 months or 3000 miles which ever comes first. My lude pers like it was a new kitten, and I just did my first oil change in the S000, Guess what oil I used......Your rite Mobil 1. I have been to some of the Hockenheim RING F1 races and guess what they mostly use.....Your rite again Mobil 1.... Even I have seen cars that are sponsored by other oil manufactures but guess what oil there really putting in the car......rite again Mobil 1 good enough for Schumacher good enough for me.....

So you've been in the pits and stood there and watched the another oil brand sponsored car dump Mobil 1 into their car.... yeah right!! If they did that they would lose their sponsorship. What was the brand?
particularly since mobil 1 is nowhere near the best synthetic oil out there.

What the hell kinda question is that?
But since you ask a stupid question I'll give you a stupid answer,... Because the engine runs smoother, and it continues to do so with zero problems. I have completely changed all the fluids in the car over to RP, except the brake fluid.
And yes I have used many different types of oils in the cars I've owned including Mobil1 and I like the RP. Mobil 1 was good never had any problems with it. I have had problems with other oils.

I didn't mean to set you off so with my "stupid" question. I guess you really put me in my place! Hope you feel better.
Maybe I'm just lucky that after owning a lot of cars, I've never had any problems with motor oils. In fact, I've never known anyone who has had a problem with a motor oil.
Have a nice day!
