That really doesn't answer my question... I'm just gonna stick with it. Its been great so far.

The Magnetic drain plugs are from Spoon.

This is simple.
Mobil 1 is PROVEN for ALONG time.
It is Excellent oil, NONE BETTER!!!
EVERYONE that uses it (including myself for 20 years) loves it!
Why put some new oil in your baby and risk it???

Darkknight,

Just to pull your chain a little - How do you know if you "like" an engine oil, and "had good luck with it"?

Are there some oils that you didn't like or had bad luck with?

Wanabe,

How do you like Royal Purple better than Mobil 1? Can you tell the difference?

We have a member here, who has shared his knowledge about motor oil. for our S2k's. I think he's well informend so I trust what he has to say. the oil journals have tests on many brands of oil, some test better than others. so read up and make up you're own mind on what oil will best work for you. BTW, I was a mobil 1 user until I read the test scores. and now Im a amsoil guy until something better come along.

I use Mobil 1, you can get it for a lot less money if you look around for coupons...oh yeah and it performs great.

On a side note I have something on the burner...a synthetic oil that performs better than Mobil 1 in all side by side tests, truly amazing stuff. (I don't make it, will just distribute if all pulls together.)

Yes, mobile 1 is a good oil, for $20-30 with filter you can change it ever 3-5k, if you want to. and you can find it everywhere. I have it in the wife's camery, and was in my tacoma. till I replaced it with amsoil 0-30w. I just like the fact it the best oil I can find. BTW I can buy local. its about $50 with a filter to do the s2k. but it does have a long life. my opinion is based on what I know from the oil journals.

What the hell kinda question is that?
But since you ask a stupid question I'll give you a stupid answer,... Because the engine runs smoother, and it continues to do so with zero problems. I have completely changed all the fluids in the car over to RP, except the brake fluid.

And yes I have used many different types of oils in the cars I've owned including Mobil1 and I like the RP. Mobil 1 was good never had any problems with it. I have had problems with other oils.
