ROH Adrenaline wheels?

I should have further info soon(week or so). I just got an e-mail back from the company. Very prompt reply.(I like that)
They say that the 17's are in production right now and 16-18 will be released "shortly".
I may have to go with 18's!

My question is: They sort of look like the Work Meister S2R wheels that RM sells (that I love and ordered) but why are they ~$100something when the Work wheels are $00.00 a piece? Should any wheel really cost $600.00 a wheel (except for forged magnesium wheels for a 360 Modena)??

PCW do a copy, as do ADR and several others. These are all cast wheels and considerably cheaper, but don't have the sizes for the S. Alstadt do the Zivel R01 which is almost an exact copy of the Work wheel and is 2 or 3 piece, forged and spun, and very light. And also very expensive!
ROH are a very big wheel maker in Australia, and the S2000 is extremely popular here. So much so that it was the NRMA (National Roads and Motorists Association) Sport Car of the Year in 2000. When ROH did their catalogue they chose the S for the front cover (I suspect it was because the product manager wanted to drive one for the weekend). They are now producing this wheel specifically for the S.
Why are they sub $US200? Well the basic wheel is mass produced, but they're doing a specific run for the S. Also, they're actually $350, but that's pacific pesos, so you're really taking advantage of the exchange rate.
Should wheels cost $US600? Well, this is the top end of the market, and at this end the market the price is exaserbated by low demand, and higher production costs. Add to that the strength of the Yen and extremely high cost of production in Japan and you begin to see why the Alstadt (sounds German, but is Japanese) and Work wheels are so expensive. So you get what you pay for, but you can often pay double for 10% more.
The Adrenalin are a great looking wheel at an amazing price, made specifically for the S. I have every intention to arrange a group buy and get you guys the best price possible.
I've also pointed the ROH boys to this thread so if you're interested, speak up so they can see the level.
BTW, ROH also do some nice 5 spoke racing wheels that although more expensive than the Adrenalin, should come in much less than the comparable competition.
