Hmmm...doubt its under warranty unless it chipped on its own

Check with your insurance on their policy for glass. Some states have free glass, or very low deductibles. Also most will cover it for repair so it will not spread.

Either way, act fast and try not to drive it or expose it to heat/cold until you can get it fixed. Im speaking from experience! I had a LITTLE chip....figured whatever, I can live with it and then it started cracking! I went in and they really can do a great job and make it hardly noticeable. If you live somewhere that rock chips are frequent, you may want to just wait awhile until you go for replacement.

Check insurance....if not $40-50 is a cheap fix to make sure it doesnt get a LOT worse.

Windshield/glass companies can repair some chips. I think they use a resin.

My S2000 windshield attracts way more rocks than my junker 92 prelude windshield I am beginning to think it is the low ride height and upright windshield angle.

Theres some kind of glue type thing you can use to seal the chip before it cracks.

I had a small crack (about 7mm long) after about 2 months of owning the car. Hasnt gotten any bigger for the last 4 months.

warranty does not cover that, you need to call your insurance company
